I worked for over 10 years with Napoleon Benelux, so it was only natural that Napoleon France asked me to be their Ambassador for 2023–2024. I’m not a huge fan of the word “Ambassador,” but let’s just say I’m happy to represent Napoleon when it comes to their charcoal Kettle BBQs.

The quality of Napoleon's gas grills is outstanding—but as many of you know, gas hasn’t really been my go-to cooking method. That said, the latest Napoleon gas models all support a charcoal basket and a smoking tray accessory… which makes me much more inclined to enjoy the convenience and practicality of gas under those conditions.

The Pro 22 K-LEG model has always been one of my favorite barbecues. Almost every recipe in my book Smokehouse – 25 Years of American BBQ was cooked on that grill.
